Podscribe is now IAB Tech Lab Certified

We are excited to announce today that Podscribe, the leader of verification & measurement in podcasting, has officially achieved IAB Tech Lab certification.

After a 6 month no-stone-unturned audit, IAB Tech Lab has certified the accuracy of  Podscribe’s download counting methodology, according to the Technical Guidelines Version 2.1.

A Big Win for the Industry

This is a significant win for the podcasting industry. Other advertising mediums have long had the comfort of 3rd party counting, both for good campaign hygiene and also centralized, reporting automation.

Podcast buyers can now use the leading industry download counting standard (IAB Podcast Measurement Guidelines) through a neutral, 3rd party — automatically populating, on one centralized dashboard.

Publishers and other ecosystems also can look towards a fresh, unbiased, IAB Tech Lab certified counter, which helps standardize what a “download” means in the space, by spreading the IAB Tech Lab standard.

Podscribe's certification from IAB Tech Lab indicates that the podcast space’s technical infrastructure is maturing, and gaining parity with longer-standing mediums.
