Each month, Podscribe analyzes the past 30 days of data to identify the top podcast publishers based on audio reach, downloads and views per month. Live rankings are continuously updated on this page, but we also publish monthly snapshots to spotlight standout shows and trends.

Glossary

  • Audio Reach - The estimated number of unique listeners reached by a podcast’s audio content, based on audience measurement and scaling across episodes. This is a key metric to help understand total exposure potential.

  • Downloads & Views / Month - The total number of downloads and views a podcast receives in a typical month, combing all episodes and across all platforms.

  • Ad Load - The percentage of a podcast’s runtime that is dedicated to advertising. For example: a 5-minute ad block in a 50-minute episode would be a 10% ad load. It helps advertisers assess how ad-heavy a show is.

  • Renew % - The percentage of advertisers who choose to run another campaign on the show after an initial flight. A high renewal rate signals strong performance and advertiser satisfaction.

  • % Host Read - The percentage of ads on the podcast that are read by the host versus pre-produced or third-party ads. Host-read ads are often seen as more effective due to the trust and familiarity hosts have with their audiences.
